Assessor Training

This learning programme is a credit-bearing course aligned to the SAQA Unit Standard (ID 115753): CONDUCT OUTCOMES-BASED ASSESSMENT, NQF LEVEL 5, CREDITS 15. After successful completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Competence.

The Assessor training course is designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge required for the role of an assessor. Learners will gain understanding of what constitutes effective assessment practice with regards to the requirements of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) framework.

The Assessor training course will provide you with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical information to be able to assess qualifications on an objective basis according to their level, scope, and content.

Practitioners credited for this course will be able to

• Conduct assessments within they field of expertise.
• Demonstrate a detailed understanding of outcomes-based assessment.
• Plan for the assessment to ensure it complies with the principles of assessment.
• Prepare for the assessment.
• Prepare the candidate(s) for assessment.

This course will contribute towards the achievement of a variety of qualifications particularly within the fields of Education Training and Development Practices and Human Resources Development.
